Responsibilities
Classification: Exempt / Non-Bargaining
Position is located in-office with some flexibility to work remote. Must be within commute distance to a CCI office.
Position may be located in Fargo, ND; Mankato, MN; Urbandale, IA; Gibsonia, PA; Portland, ME; Roseville,CA; Conroe, TX.
Represent customer appointments as subject matter expert on company Products and Services.
Provides sales technical support to assure successful customer integration and implementation of established company products.
Gains understanding of customer's business and analysis of customer's communication network needs.
Prepares and presents technical proposals of how company's products can meet those needs and be integrated and implemented with customer's systems and equipment.
Prepares and presents customer network systems and applications. Communicates to sales team(s) to assure complete plan is feasible within cost, timeframe, and environment constraints.
Manage customer design and capture cost for standard and more complex applications through the company ICB process.
Works independently with general management guidance. Updates manager on client projects status.
Provides guidance to less experienced Sales Engineers by reviewing customer needs and finalizing applications.
Provides weekly project updates to Management team.
Qualifications
Advanced degree or relevant industry experience in business or a technical discipline.
10+ years related industry experience
Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
Technical certifications in Technology verticals or Telecommunications.
Examples not limited to:
Cisco CCNA
Cisco CCNP
CTNS: Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist
CIPTS: Certified IP Telecom Network Specialist
RCDD: Registered Communications Distribution Designer
CCNT: Certified in Convergent Network Technologies
Manufacture or Association Related Certifications:
Adtran, Lucent, Cisco, Tyco, NCTA, etc.
